redraw of more than the background

When a new (different) wallpaper is drawn the icons are redrawn and if I have a dropdown box open it dissapears and i have to click to open it again. How do I stop this annoyance. I do not have hide icons selected. I am using w98se.

That's a bug in Wallpaper Cycler 2.1, which should be solved in version 3.0.
