Crash on Win Server 2008

Hello,

Im currently using the latest WallpaperCyclerLite 3.1 with the Vista patches on Win Server 2008 Beta 3, which is basically the server edition of Vista. Most apps that work on Vista also work on Server 2008, so I'm wondering if there is something different in Server 2008 that is causing this crash, or if WPC has a bug.

I right click on the taskbar icon and "show window" or double click on it to bring up the Window. Then Windows tells me the app crashed with these details:

I'm willing to perform more testing or other things to get this fixed.

The problem is that even with the vista patch some users seem to have problems with running WPC even on Vista. Maybe that's the same issue that you are having with Server 2008. However, I'm working on the next release that hopefully solves all Vista related issues and maybe also 2008 related issues. Please let me know if you are interested in testing a beta version when the Beta cycle of the next releases starts, which hopefully is in the near future.
