Beginning of March I went to New York for a few days with some friends. We were very lucky with the weather. It was cold though, only 0\u00b0C or 32\u00b0F but we had no rain\u00a0and it was blue sky almost all the time \ud83d\ude42 Since it was low season for New York at this time there were not too many tourists. This was very noticable on a few places where we saw long ‘snake-lines’ for tourists to wait in line, but when we went there we almost never had to wait in any ‘snake-line’ \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Below are some pictures of my trip to New York.

First some pictures of Central Park which is a huge park in the middle of New York. When you are walking in Central Park you almost don’t hear anything anymore from the big city. It’s really a place where you can relax.<\/p>\n

Some nice buildings. One curved building and the other one with some step like structure with trees.<\/p>\n

Inside the Statue of Liberty. Unfortunately we couldn’t go all the way to the top of the statue. It was closed for public. Below is a picture of the stairs that would bring you to the top if it was open.<\/p>\n

The famous yellow cabs are all around you in New York.<\/p>\n

Space is at a premium in the center of New York, so they come up with innovative ideas, like this system to park cars very closely by means of a system of elevators.<\/p>\n
