HowTo: Add Wallpapers

Before you can add any wallpapers to the list in Wallpaper Cycler, you have to select the category into which you want to add them. On the left of the main window of Wallpaper Cycler there is a tree (see screenshot on the right) and one of the items in this tree is called "My Wallpapers". This is the main category under which all your wallpaper categories will be added. You cannot add wallpapers directly to the "My Wallpapers" categories, instead you will have to create at least 1 category under "My Wallpapers", or let Wallpaper Cycler automatically create an initial category when adding your first wallpaper. To add a wallpaper, perform the following procedure:

1. With your mouse, right click the category into which you want to add the new wallpapers.
2. In the menu select "Add Wallpaper" and select the type of wallpaper that you want to add. See below for a description of the different types of possible wallpapers supported by Wallpaper Cycler.

When you add new wallpapers to Wallpaper Cycler, you have the choise between the following options:

1. Add Image Wallpaper: This option allows you to add specific files as wallpapers. You can select multiple files at the same time. Learn more about file wallpapers.
2. Add Folder Recursively: This option allows you to select a specific folder and Wallpaper Cycler will add all images in that folder as wallpapers to your list. There is also the option to do this recursively, meaning that Wallpaper Cycler will also add all images in sub-folders. Learn more about this feature.
3. Add Gradient Wallpaper (Not available in the Lite version): This option allows you to create a gradient that can be used as wallpaper. Several types of gradients are available. Learn more about gradient wallpapers.
4. Add Url Wallpaper (Not available in the Lite version): This option allows you to specify an URL which will be used as wallpaper. This can be used to put a webcam on your desktop. Learn more about URL wallpapers.
