Weekend Vienna (Austria)
Last weekend I went to Vienna together with 2 friends from Belgium. Vienna is really a nice and clean city. Public transportation is pretty good and we used it all the time.
On Saturday we visited Schloss Schönbrunn.
In the afternoon we went to the Prater park but didn’t stay long since it was getting late and we had dinner reservations in a Brazilian Churrascaria restaurant 🙂
On Sunday we went to visit the Silver Collection and the Sisi Museum in the Imperial Apartments of the Imperial Palace. Below are a few pictures of and around the Hofburg.
After the Hofburg we took a bus ride of 1.5 hours which drove past all important buildings in the city. However, since it was raining, we didn’t took any pictures during that trip.

Vienna is indeed a wonderful city. And it’s public transport is also very good, and
very broad in scope (bus, sub, tram, …). I know, I spent 5+ summerholidays in that
public transport system overthere 🙂
next time you go there, don’t forget to take out two full days for the
“Naturhistorisches” and the “Kunsthistorisches Museum”. Highly recommended.

You are right, there is still a lot to see in Vienna, but this time we were only there for 2 days 😉

Very different city than where you live now, huh?! Man, Vienna is huuuge! I wonder how many days would you need to see everything, or to even adjust to it?!
I loved it this time! All peoples, languages, you name it…
