HowTo: Render Quotes On Your Desktop

(Not available in the Lite version)

You need to create a new layout or edit an existing layout and then perform the following steps:

1. Create a new text object by clicking on "Objects > Add Text Object" and draw a rectangle on your layout where you want your quote.
2. Select your newly created text object by clicking on it.
3. In the properties bar on the right of the window, find the property "Text" and click on "Edit..." which will open the text editor.
4. Click the last button on the toolbar, choose "Quote...". A new window will appear in which you need to select a quote file. This will insert a command in your text that will be replaced by Wallpaper Cycler with a random quote from the selected file.
5. To add the author of the above quote, click the last button on the toolbar, choose "Quote Author...". A new window will appear in which you need to select a quote file. This will insert a command in your text that will be replaced by Wallpaper Cycler with the author of the randomly chosen quote from the previous step.
6. (optional) change the formatting of your text.
7. Click "OK", close the layout editor and test your new layout.
