The Unicode version of FileEngineer allows you to work with files that contain languages with non-english alphabets like japanese. If you do not use such files, you can use the non-Unicode version.
Note: The Unicode version runs on Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP and 2003.

The following versions are old, discontinued releases of FileEngineer. They are still branded under the name ExaWare.

• If you're having trouble with the helpfile, try downloading and installing the hhupd.exe.
• On Windows 95, you may need to download and install 50comupd.exe to update the common controls.
