From time to time the following error message may appear:

When this error pops up, just click OK. When you get this error too frequently, please revert back to version 1.3.

The above error will be fixed in the next version (2.0) which will be released before the end of september 2003.
Version 2.0 also has a new major feature: "Categories"
You can make as many categories as you like (max 65536), enable/disable categories, assign a specific time period to a category (can be used to create a category that Wallpaper Cycler may only us in the morning, in the evening, in the winter,...), ...
Each category has a limit of 65536 wallpapers.
Version 2.0 will also contain a much improved randomizer. A wallpaper that has already been choosen by the randomizer will not be choosen again before all other wallpapers in the enabled categories have been choosen.

If you're having trouble with the helpfile, try downloading and installing the hhupd.exe.

Wallpaper Cycler is not fully supported on Windows 95, but if you have trouble to run it on Windows 95 (example: you're unable to open the options window), try to download and install 50comupd.exe to update the common controls. Also, make sure you have a msvcrt.dll in your windows/system directory.

If you are experiencing problems on Windows NT 4.0, please install the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0.
